In short, we may not have room for your private-party transfer.
Single-Handgun transfers usually aren't an issue, but long guns are another story.
Please call ahead to see if we will be able to accommodate
your person-to-person (private party) transfer.
THANK YOU
(Updated April 2023)
Moving past the half-way mark this year, we can say that getting ammo is a lot easier. We have most popular handgun ammo on the shelf, and can even offer bulk-discounts on large ammo orders (just ask).
We have seen some RIO 12Ga target loads and steel for dove hunting. Larger 3" shells for duck and goose have been available also. Keep in mind that the prices aren't what they used to be, but we can usually get our hands on something to keep you shooting. Check-in on a weekly basis if you're looking for a particular cartridge or round, and we'll keep searching!
*PLEASE DO NOT SHIP YOUR ONLINE AMMO ORDER TO US*
We do not have an established cost per round or box for this service, and space to store such orders is a logistical issue for us.
We will charge a penalty or fee, plus the DROS Fee in order to discourage sending these orders in.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you.

*We recommend calling ahead to ensure that we have storage space for, and can accommodate your transfer.
Thanks!
The CA DOJ maintains an exclusive list of "not unsafe" handguns, which are approved for sale to the people of California. These select models are set to expire annually, on January first if the renewal fees are not paid by the manufacturer.
Most manufacturers have the exact part number listed on the roster, making it easy to identify which models are legal to purchase. If you have a question about the legality of a firearm or can't locate it on the roster, please reach out to us and we will help you.
You may notice that the list is shrinking, and new handguns are rarely added to this list. This is by design, and is making the acquisition of modern firearms
increasingly difficult year after year.
INBOUND TRANSFERS ARE $37.19 FOR THE DROS, & $65 FOR ONE GUN. ADDITIONAL FIREARMS FOR THAT SUBMISSION ARE $45 EACH.
PPT'S ARE $47.19 FOR THE FIRST GUN, AND $10 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL FIREARM ON THE SAME SET OF PAPERWORK
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY CREDENTIALS TO START YOUR PAPERWORK. PLEASE MESSAGE US WITH ANY QUESTIONS!
If the following applies to you, you can skip the store and transfer a firearm online!
The transfer of a firearm up or down the family tree can be done online, via the CFARS website. The recipient of the firearm must be of legal age, and in possession of a valid CA ID/DL, and Firearm Safety Certificate or exemption. This process may take a number of weeks for the CA DOJ to complete.
ONLINE STEPS:
Let's face it: We all need a little "gun-therapy" every now and then,
and there's nothing like a face-to-face conversation when you have questions about something new! We're here to help, so come check out our current inventory and let us know if there's anything you're searching for!
See you soon!
